White Crane - Shoot BTS

Here's a super rough assemblage of BTS clips from a little shoot I did involving some big paper cranes and feather hair. Always fun to try and come up with visually impactful ideas on a $20 budget. Sorry its so low quality/short but the shoot itself was kind of thrown together so a big video wasn't really on my mind.

New Video, Retouch Time Lapse

Getting motivated to make some more videos. Until I make some more actual tutorial videos, here is another quick little time lapse of a portrait retouch. No audio since I was listening to music at the time and not commentating. Just put on your favorite music and you've got your own soundtrack.

      Getting back into making some videos after saying I would and then kind of forgetting about it for months.. Here is a quickie of me retouching a simple portrait, sped up to about 10x real time. I don't give detailed descriptions of the process but there are little notes during various parts of the video that mention kind of what is going on. Hopefully I'll stay motivated and come up with some more cool tutorial videos soon. 

Video: Brightening Eyes in Photohshop

Thought I would do some videos about basic little retouching tips. This one is about adding some light to a person's eyes. I'm using the lastest version of Photoshop CC but everything in this video should work with pretty much any version of Photoshop since all of the tools are basic.

     Made another little tutorial video, this time about easily brightening eyes in Photoshop.

Video: Retouching Time Lapse

Thought I would record my screen while going through a quick retouch of a recent portrait so here you can see about an hour of work on this shot condensed into ten minutes. This isn't a super thorough retouching job but it gets the photo looking pretty good in the 50 or 60 minutes I spent on it.

     Here is a simple new video I've recorded that showroom basic portrait retouching. Essentially just a recording of my screen while I work in Photoshop played back at 500% speed, you can get an idea of what it looks like when I'm retouching skin and color. 

     I'm still sorting what kinds of things I want to do detailed tutorials on but I thought it might be cool to see something like this. 

     As I note in the description on Youtube, the "final" image isn't really done but it is probably 85 or 90% done. I'd probably do a bit more detail work and of course some sharpening.
